A predominantly “fuzzy” class, the Upsilon Class has demonstrated leadership and excellence throughout campus life—from The Stanford Daily to The Stanford Review, from the Film Society to the Hoover Institute, from TGIFunk to Aida. As President and Vice President of our chapter, Upsilons Dean Schaffer ’10 and Ian Bardenstein ’10 have taken the reins of the fraternity, guiding the brotherhood toward a more cohesive, well-organized, enthusiastic and involved fraternity than ever before. This class has been particularly innovative, planning new fraternity events like a spring river rafting trip, cooking for the homeless with SPOON, and initiating AEPi's mentorship program: free Jamba Juice for one-on-one meals with someone outside your pledge class. Larger than many of the classes before it, the Upsilons heralded a new age of expansion and growth for AEPi at Stanford.
